Sarah Wood

We are excited to have Miss Sarah Wood bringing her gymnastics expertise, passion for skill development, and love of working with young people to 3S Dance Company.
Sarah spent many years training in gymnastics before transitioning into coaching. She is a nationally and provincially certified Level 2 coach in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, with a particular passion for developmental skills training. Over the years, she has coached competitive developmental programs at both GA and QCGC in Regina, and has also shared her expertise as a guest skills coach with Twin Lakes Cheer.
Sarah’s approach to coaching is all about helping athletes build confidence, strength, proper technique, and new skills while creating a positive environment where they can challenge themselves and have fun. We couldn’t think of a better fit for our 3S Acro program!
Outside the gym, Sarah has a background in cultural heritage and non-profit management, putting her double degree in History and Classical & Medieval Studies to good use! She has also returned to university to pursue a Bachelor of Education After-Degree, combining her love of learning with her passion for working with young people.
And of course, Sarah is also a dance mom to one little dancer! With a particular love for tap, her daughter’s passion for dance finally accomplished what 30 years of Shannon trying to convince Sarah to dance never could!
You can now find Sarah not only coaching Acro at 3S, but also getting her own dance on in our adult tap classes!
