Ainsley Pelzer

miss Ainsley is currently in Grade 12 at Winston Knoll Collegiate and has been dancing since the age of three. From her very first class, she knew dance would be a huge part of my life — and it has been ever since. She has trained competitively for many years at studios including Applause Dance Academy, Martin School of Dance & Baton, and Dance Dimensions, developing my skills in a wide range of styles and gaining unforgettable performance experiences along the way.

Dance has taught her more than just technique — it’s taught her discipline, creativity, confidence, and the importance of community.

Ainsley- “It’s where I feel most myself, and it’s something I genuinely love sharing with others. This will be my third year teaching and assisting, and I’m incredibly excited to continue learning, growing, and inspiring young dancers at Shimmy Shuffle & Shake Dance Co. Being part of a dancer’s journey — whether it’s helping them master a new move or watching their confidence blossom — is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I can’t wait to create an encouraging and energetic space where every student feels supported, seen, and excited to dance!”
